Why knuslabs
It started in a flat where nothing fit.
I moved into an Amsterdam apartment in early 2026 with more ideas than furniture. A window bench over the radiator. Built-ins for awkward corners. Storage that looked like it belonged to the room instead of being squeezed into it.
The problem was not imagination. It was the gap between an idea and something you can actually build. Standard furniture never quite fit. Custom work meant CAD files, material choices, measurements, cut lists, lead times, and quotes that made small ideas feel impossible.
So I started building the missing bridge: a way to turn room photos and rough ideas into designs, validation, parts, and instructions. A path from idea to furniture you can live with.
